Relax at our unique and tranquil getaway, nestled beneath the Papamoa Hills Regional Park on 17 acres of farmland and regenerating bush. Just a 7-minute drive to the white sands of Papamoa surf beach, vibrant restaurants & cafes, this cosy glamping accommodation is the break you’ve been looking for!

Set on a lifestyle property, your accommodation includes three cosy pods that make up your private home away from home. These are linked by a covered patio with country views, offering a unique indoor-outdoor living experience.

A real highlight is the new private outdoor bath—perfect for two, complete with plumbed hot/cold water and fairy lights for a magical evening under the stars. Stargazing from the bath or sitting by the firepit listening for moreporks is an unforgettable experience. The outdoor area, firepit, bath, kitchen, and bathroom pods are for your exclusive use.

Animal lovers and families will enjoy meeting our friendly pet farm animals, including our pet cows, sheep, goats, flemish giant rabbits, and chickens. They all love a fuss and in spring we often have new lambs. There is access to the animals at any time, which is shared with our other Airbnb on-site, as is the trampoline, tree swing and football field (your accommodation remains entirely private).

The accommodation is designed for comfort: new beds, blackout blinds, retractable insect screens, and full insulation ensure restful sleep year-round. The main pod is 30m², consisting of a lounge, queen bedroom and small bedroom with single bed. The lounge has a flatscreen TV heat pump, mini fridge and kettle.

A few steps outside is your private bathroom pod with a shower, toilet, and sink. Next to it is the full kitchen pod, equipped with a fridge/freezer, stove, oven, and dining table. Outside, you’ll find a covered outdoor dining table area, plus beanbags, outdoor umbrella and lawn to laze on.

On your doorstep is the stunning Papamoa Hills walk, featuring historic Maori Pa sites and breathtaking views of the Mount and Papamoa - spectacular at sunrise or sunset.

In summer, visit Blackstump Farm for strawberries, real fruit ice creams and mini-golf. Soak in the natural hot springs at Welcome Bay Hot Pools or visit Bayfair shopping mall & the boutique shops of Mount Maunganui. Climb or walk around ‘The Mount’ or if you have littlies, enjoy the award-winning Waterfront Playground in Tauranga. We are a short drive away from Rotorua, with all of its adrenaline thrills, thermal activity and cultural highlights, and Hobbiton from the Lord of the Rings is a day trip away!

We’re happy to welcome you on arrival, introduce you to the animals, and share local tips. Free parking for two vehicles is available. Please note: the pods are separate and connected by covered walkways; you’ll need to walk outside between them (dressing gowns provided).

Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Nearby dog-walking areas include Papamoa Beach, Kaiate Falls, and the Daisy Hardwick Walk.
