Brightside Farmstay

Relax in the Papamoa countryside at our Farmstay retreat. Nestled in the beautiful Papamoa hills, surrounded by the regional park and with our 17 acre farm to wander, this really is a great escape. Perfect for a romantic couples escape or a rural family and farm animal adventure!

Enjoy its magical location in the beautiful countryside, next to the Papamoa Hills walk but only a 7-minute drive from beautiful beaches, great cafes and shops.

Externally there is plenty of space for adults & children alike to roam, run or relax. We have a football field out front for the kids to run wild, our outdoor game ‘Gummy Ball’, plus of course a trampoline and an array of friendly bottle-raised animals to fuss. There is a large tree swing in the neighbouring paddock where our friendly cows look forward to having their chin scratched. At night you can sit outside with wine in hand looking at the myriad of stars and of course the Southern Cross.

Have a new experience feeding and fussing our pets Mara & Wednesday (goats), Larry and Emily (sheep), Piglet & Rosie (Jersey cows). Collect fresh eggs from our free range chickens or hand-feed our Flemish giant rabbits (Blue and Mr Chips).

Stay in either our 2 bedroom apartment or try our version of glamping, in our pod living accommodation. Whichever you choose, you will feel like you've truly escaped!
